UOSF advances site selection for new campus


The Chairman of the UOSF Board Governance Committee announced today that a proposal has been approved to select the area surrounding the conference center as the location for UOSF’s new campus. The entire board of directors will vote on Friday.

The selection of this location requires additional due diligence, which includes at least 22 acres of cultivable land and proximity to dozens of company headquarters and offices. The future campus will increase investment in the city’s long history

This will be a website that provides our students with the opportunity to learn and grow in a rapidly developing city and offers incredible job opportunities. Our goal is to create a national center of excellence and bring our smart students to this forward thinking city. The interim president said he is excited about expansion, “especially as new companies continue to move to the region and seek to hire outstanding talent. We will offer labor oriented graduate programs that will help cultivate tomorrow’s leaders and have a positive impact on the state’s economy

The campus plans to launch graduate degree programs in the fall of 2026 through advanced graduate and professional degree programs, as well as related research work. These include the following courses: a professional MBA program, a newly established Master of Management focused on artificial intelligence, a Master of Engineering Management focused on data analysis, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, a Master’s degree in Legal Research (for non lawyers working in compliance), and a Master’s degree in Biomedical and Health Sciences Artificial Intelligence. The recently launched Master’s degree program in Architecture will be integrated into the city center campus.

In addition to academic services on campus, world-class research institutions will be established in the city.

The demand for talent in emerging fields is constantly increasing. Fulfilling the university’s commitment to incorporating artificial intelligence teaching into its curriculum. In 2019, an artificial intelligence program was launched, adding over 100 new faculty members in the field of artificial intelligence, adopting innovative artificial intelligence methods throughout the curriculum, and conducting extensive research in the field of artificial intelligence.
